Yumi Wilson is a professor, journalist, and personal branding coach with a keen interest in the intersection of AI and journalism. With a background that includes roles at LinkedIn, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Associated Press, she brings a wealth of experience to her work. A Fulbright grant recipient, Yumi has also taught in both the Journalism Department and the Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts (BECA) Department at SF State, focusing on media writing and theory. As the host of the "AI in Journalism" podcast, she explores how AI is reshaping the media industry. Recently, she moderated the panel "What Smaller Orgs Can Teach Everyone About AI and Trust" at ONA24, sharing insights on innovation and trust in journalism. Yumi is committed to empowering professionals to transform their careers through coaching, webinars, and courses.
